Surfing is Self Care Workshop
Surfing is Self Care is more than a surf workshop. It’s a women’s experience designed to build confidence, connection, and calm through movement, breathwork, and time in the ocean.
Together, we’ll move through breathwork, surf-focused yoga, guided surfing, reflection, and a nourishing lunch in a supportive and empowering environment.
Whether you’re brand new to surfing or looking to deepen your relationship with the ocean, this experience is about feeling grounded, capable, and cared for.
Your Day Includes
- Breathwork for surfing and nervous system regulation
- Surf-focused yoga for strength, mobility, and balance
- Guided surf instruction for beginner and intermediate surfers
- Reflection and integration time
- Community connection and time in nature
- A nourishing lunch prepared by Woo Casa

Location
We’ll meet in Kill Devil Hills. Part of the workshop will take place indoors in a cozy studio/house setting, and the surf portion will take place at a nearby beach access.
Food
After our time in the water, we’ll gather for a nourishing taco bar and bowl lunch prepared by Woo Casa.
Food and equipment are provided.
Weather & Cancellation Policy
Safety is our top priority. If weather or surf conditions are unsafe, the workshop will be rescheduled. If you’re unable to attend the rescheduled date, a credit will be issued for a future Surfing is Self Care event.
